Anyone noticing problems with Powerusenet yesterday and today with missing headers? Newsbin Pro keeps gray barring several posts marked as "all there," and my throughpout is way down. I am using Beta 5.

Gray means the chunks are already downloaded.

Throughput has been miserable yesterday and today. Any ideas?
The FLAC files here all parts available according to the right-click properties. Yes, the server log shows them as ID missing. Something is hosed.

There are red bars meaning those parts had errors, with the grey idicating what was successfully retreived..
Looking at the date which makes those posts about 60 days old I would guess that the posts are on the edge of retention and have started expiring off the server. As far as I know PowerUsenet does not offer 60 days retention?

The files were posted this weekend! 6/4 is June 4, not the sixth of April. ;-)

Receiving a 430 error means NewsBin is downloading using a message ID and the server does not have the post. In this case, it looks like you loaded an NZB file and the files were originally posted to usenetserver. It could be that usenetserver has not propagated these files to other servers yet.

I've emailed there tech support about this issue. cause I'm sseing it more & more with differnt posts
I thought it might be a NZB so I downloaded all 5 million headers looking for the files that were in the NZB and the same result even though Power Usenet shows them as complette there not.. it downloads all the file except for a few 100k of it
and then greys out & goes to the next one and does the same thing
Bingo...

... Angelus! You're exactly right. I will dump them when this month is up and go to Giganews directly if I don't see immediate improvement.

I've been seeing the same as Phil the last couple days. At the moment I can't even bring up powerusenet.com. Just now I managed to download 240k and then it up and quit. Newbin is now reporting the stuff pasted below. May the all mighty router that died rest in peace.

I'm seeing the same problem, but its only on new posts. basically, the headers say they have completion, but they are repeatedly failing on certain individual posts (i.e. one per file I try to download), sometimes after many retries it fetches it.
However, on older posts, there seem to be no problem. I'm not so annoyed, as haven't had anything I can't fix through pars.

Same story here. Lots of incompletes and droped connection. I emailed them tonight asking WTF. No reply yet. I will give them till tomorrow and see what kind of an answer they come up with before I shop around.

This is crap. My latest attempt ended with 15 complete files and 35 damaged files. They were all posted yesterday too.

You all on Comcast? Comcast seemed to be having router problems earlier today according to Dex. My PU is working perfectly through Verizon.

I got a generic reply from tech support tonight. Whatever they did I had no problems tonight.
