issues with RC5

Postby Stan » Sat Dec 11, 2021 4:25 pm

Ok, I wanted to post separately. I have now pretty much deleted all files from newsbin.
I then did an install from the latest rc5 file I could find. After install, I restored DownloadMarker.DB3 and Filters.db3.
I wanted to eliminate as much from what could be causing my issue.

This is what happens if I have it open for a bit of time for some reason it just closes with no warning or log. I finally looked through windows10 pro and found the event logs.
this is a 16GIG system and a pretty clean Win 10 pro install and full virus checked.
Below I will post the last 2 things from the event logs.
I also did just to make sure I have newsbin excluded from anti-virus as well.
I don't know what I am missing but I will take any advice and try if I can to stop this.

I did now try RC6 and it does it.
I now even deleted my servers and added back a few just in case there was an issue there.
I can't imagine what is doing this. Below if 2 event logs from rc6.

I close sabnzbd and don't seem to have the issue.
what if anything can be done?

ok, tried this. After more long term testing it may now seem for some unknown reason having sabnzbd sitting in my tray, as I have it auto-start to try after reboot might be the issue.

Until I closed the sabnzbd tray icon newsbin exits after a brief time.

hoping someone here had a similar issue and can suggest what to do.
