Intermittant NZB Unrar issues with 6.90 5524

I've come across a bunch of NZB's that download and appear to be un-raring but do not extract anything. They don't show up in failed and they don't show up on the files list. They just vanish.

I've sent a example to ts@newsbin.com with a reference to this post if you want to take a look. Maybe it's a new obfuscation issue or something. This started happening about a week ago.

NZBGet extracts these with no problem. There are no odd file types inside.

I'm using: 6.90 5524

The NZB unrarred perfectly for me. Are you using any "Post unrar" filtering?

Yes I exclude a bunch of extensions. I disabled filtering to test and the unrar worked good.

One of the extensions being filtered was present in the downloaded RAR: [.]jpg

QUESTION: If 1 of the files is in the rar, will the whole extraction be excluded or just that one file?

I want the other file that was in the RAR, The filter is meant to drop the jpg.

Should just be the one file that gets deleted. I'll give it a try.

Ok thanks.

When i paste the name of the main file of the rar in the "Enter Test Text" parameter for the autopar filter it says "Test text was Accepted - Will be included"

I sent you some screen shots of what the exclusion filter for autopar looks like. That is the one that when disabled -- allowed the extractions to work properly.

When i stare at it, i can't see any reason why it would block the unrar -- though your eyes are way more experienced than mine.

I added [.]jpg to my post-unrar filters and re-downloaded this NZB. Only the MP4 remained when I was done.

I'm wondering if some other filter is triggering on this relatively complicated filename?

The two i know about, NZB filter and AUTOPAR were disabled. My global one is set to the default.

To get myself a way to test, i copied the autopar unrar filter and took off any item that was "subject" and used filenames only (filtering on the extensions.)

That seems to be working. Not sure why. The subject ones were very different than the contents of the rar. Still testing...

Now, my exclusion filter is leaving jpgs on disk it isn't supposed to. I sent you a screenshot of what it looks like.

Basically I'm excluding:
Reject if Filename contains: [.]jpg
Reject if Filename contains: *.jpg
Reject if Filename contains: jpg

(Trying it a variety of ways since the first way wasn't working.)

If i type the test text of:
testme.jpg

It says it was accepted and will be included.

Am I doing something wrong? Is the logic reversed because it's an exclusion filter?
