I don’t know the spelling. But I’ve read in here over the last few years how groups are now like garbled. How do you un garble it? Can you build it into your app please? I forget what it’s called, the obscure or I don’t remember.

I haven’t used Usenet for years. But I read this forum once in a while. Been thinking about trying Usenet again.

The latest releases of Unraid already handle most of the common current obfuscation schemes.

Show me some code and I can add it. I'm not seeing any patterns so, I assume what's posted is just some arbitrary string which requires NZB's to download.

What is this thing anyway?

Well it’s been long time. I’ve learned some since posting.
What I mean is obfuscation and deobfuscation. I learned that’s what this is.
What I was referring to is headers. The subjects use random numbers and letters. So there’s no way to know what you’re looking at. So that’s what I was referring to. Make it so the headers subject is readable. But I learned this may not be or is not possible. Subjects can be random numbers and letters and that there’s no way to do anything with that. So what I am wanting may not be or is not possible.

Then I wonder how to know what one is looking at. It seems no one cares about headers anymore. They’re useless. But wanting to browse you need the headers. But they’re not readable. So I have no idea what to do. Yes there’s nzb index sites but they’re not free and invite only. Plus there is a trust issue. And are they indexing everything or just specific groups? Are they indexing the whole group or only so much?

Newshosting app doesn’t show headers. And that app splits up the binaries nicely. There’s different tabs.

Quade, can you do that? Download headers like normal and add to newsbin something like newshosting has for splitting up binaries. It has iso. Img. Etc I guess. I know newxhosting does things different. It doesn’t do the whole group only part so you’re missing a ton. And there’s no option for this.

It’d be cool is news in could do this but for the headers downloaded. We have option now to download x days or x headers. Then split like newshosting.

Just trying to figure things out since some users like to browse. Not just search.
