Header Storage

using Newsbin 6.80 RC8

My SPOOL_V6 is about 21GB and I'm trying to find out what has to be there.

Three folders [BASIC_SEARCH, Nzbs, and YB] are either empty or contain a couple of small old files.
I have 41 subscribed {picture} groups and all 41 of their folders contain Range.db3 and Storage.db3 files (total of about 13GB).
Of these 41 folders 21 also contain a StorageData.db3 file (total of about 9GB) which seems to be updated at the same time as the Storage.db3 files.

Can I delete any of these files without losing stored headers?

Nope. They're all required. 21 gb ain't that much.

One thing you could do is reduce your "Storage Age" then update headers. Once it's done, you could compact the group. This should shrink the files down to just large enough to contain the new reduced count of headers. For something like picture groups, there's no much point to storing old headers is there?

I'll leave things as is - 21GB is acceptable. I just saw that only about half of the groups had StorageData.db3 files so thought maybe those files were from an older version of Newsbin.

I get you. "StorageData" is still required if the group is older. Basically it's integrated in newer groups. Fresh groups integrate the two DB3's together but older groups the "Data" file is required.
