In the Post List, when I read an article using C-r, it is now marked as Old. (I prefer to mark things Old, myself, never having it done automatically...)

This happened in some of the 5 builds, too, so I right-clicked and "Mark Posts New" after reading, but that doesn't seem to work in 6. ("Mark Posts New" will revert a "Mark Posts Old", but not when they have been marked Old by C-r, apparently)

It's getting marked "Downloaded" and "Downloaded = Old".

I suggest that reading an .nfo or .txt file is not the same as downloading it. The first allows you to read it, the next puts it on your hard drive. To me, there is a difference.

Yes, but that doesn't mean it should be _marked_ as downloaded. I look at the .nfo, and decide to
* Download now
* Delete (mark old)
* Leave it for now, and maybe download later

If the file is marked as old when I read it the first time, I don't have a way to save it for later, really...

When a file is downloaded, it ends up in the proper "downloaded" folder. Yes, to read, you have to download, but it doesn't go in the same download folder so technically, it is not downloaded. Hey, guys, we're not attacking Newsbin, we love it. We're just pointing out what we see as incorrect, incomplete or unplugged in behavior. What I'd like to see is a response that says 1) Not hooked up yet 2) Not working as it should, will investigate or 3) Working as designed because ... or stuff along that line. There are differences in 6 that we have to get used to; there were features in 5 that we liked and can't find. Help us see the logic of the change or reason for leaving it out.

That's too bad. I really liked there being a difference between files I marked as old (and hid with Hide Old) and files that are actually downloaded.
