Question about poster lock-outs/filters

Postby astrax » Fri Jul 31, 2020 4:13 am

So, here's the situation:
- I have a GOG with several groups in it
- there are no header filters or filter profiles active for that GOG
- there are also no filters activated for the groups inside it

Still I get posts marked with the status "poster filtered". I mave have once filtered/locked them out in the past, but why are they still marked that way? Even when no filter is switched on.

It's nothing too serious - just a bit confusing and I'd like to know if I can fix that in any way.
Thanks!

You might want to delete the "Posterlockout.txt" file in the data folder. There's two ways to get poster lockouts. One is to add filters. The other is to add specific posters to the posterlockout list.

I admit, I have never paid much attention to how it works. I was just confused, since the poster lockout function (posters actually not being displayed, instead of just being marked) is turned on by the filters button. Wether or not a filter is set for that group.
Thanks for clearing that up.
