Unselected Item Deleted From Download List

I just noted that if I select an item in the download list and another item (say at the top of the list) is automatically removed because it has completed download, even though the originally selected item is still highlighted, if I select delete using the keyboard, the item below the selected item is deleted and the highlighted item remains and is still highlighted (like the index of the selected item is not updated for the fact that the list is now one shorter).

Would you consider keeping the index of the highlighted / selected item(s) up-to-date as other items are added, removed, or position-shifted in the Download List?
